About CPM

CPM is a leading provider of process equipment and engineered solutions for the oilseed, animal feed, and bioenergy markets under the brands Beta Raven, Century, CPM (California Pellet Mill), Crown, Roskamp Champion, Ruiya, SKET and Wolverine Proctor. Over our 130 year history, CPM has established a reputation for exceeding customer expectations for efficiency, productivity and quality, which is evident in our large installation base around the world.

The origins of CPM can be traced back to California's Napa Valley, where in 1883, the Toulouse & Delorieux Company manufactured presses, crushers and stemmers for winemakers. In 1931, the company created the first pellet mill, the 30 HP Flat Bed with stationary flat die, and we became California Pellet Mill.

Today, over 900 CPM employees serve our customers at 20 facilities in North America, South America, Europe and Asia. We continue to lead in the development of new equipment and systems to increase capacity, efficiency and reliability. We provide the lowest operating costs and highest performance capabilities in the industry. Our solutions are core components of the global food, bioenergy and materials markets. And, we continue to expand our product portfolio and market participation through disciplined product development and strategic acquisitions.

CPM History

From the CEO

Ted Waitman, CEO, CPM Holdings Inc.

In 1978, I joined CPM as a manufacturing engineer in Crawfordsville, Indiana. From that moment, I knew this company was unique. Every CPM employee performs with purpose and passion – to serve the customer. Like me, it is not uncommon that employees serve their entire career with CPM. We share the same values, ethics and commitment. It is evident in our work product – the most durable, reliable, productive machinery and systems in our industries. It is evident in our long-standing customer relationships and the world’s largest install-base of equipment and systems in our core markets.

In our 130+ year history, CPM has always evolved to better serve our markets and customers. Today, CPM is developing the next generation of products and processes to serve the world’s processing demands for food, energy and materials. We are growing our footprint into emerging markets and geographies. We are continuously improving our operations to enhance the customer experience through the entire equipment lifecycle.

CPM has amazing employees and great customers. We love our products and the industries they serve. We are proud of our legacy and are committed to build upon it long into the future.
