Ted Waitman, CEO
Ted joined CPM in 1978 serving in a variety of roles including manufacturing engineer, plant manager, worldwide manufacturing manager and general manager before taking the helm as CEO. With rich experience in sales, engineering, manufacturing and general management, Ted ushered CPM from a pellet mill equipment company to the aligned, process and systems conglomerate it is today. Prior to CPM, Ted worked at Whirlpool and a dental supply company. Ted holds an industrial engineering degree from the University of Evansville.
Doug Ostrich, CFO
Doug joined CPM in 2003 as CFO. With more than 26 years of financial experience, including stints at Ernst and Young and a couple of private equity placements, Doug guides our platform acquisition strategy leveraging the financial strength of CPM with corporate, global finance. Doug knows our numbers, the business and has the global connections for expansion success. Doug holds an accounting degree from the University of Northern Iowa.
Nick Taiber, CDD
Nick has served as Corporate Development Director since 2004. During his tenure, Nick has successfully led 12 business acquisitions and 4 asset acquisitions contributing to each of CPM’s verticals. He also oversees various strategies and initiatives related to innovation, workforce development and asset management that serve CPM’s growth and development objectives. Prior to CPM, Nick worked at John Deere as an industrial engineer. Nick has an industrial engineering degree from the University of Iowa.
Kyle Roed, HR Director
As Human Resources Director, Kyle has overall responsibility for worldwide CPM HR functions. He brings deep experience and knowledge to the role, previously serving as Senior Human Resources Manager, Sr. Human Resources Generalist, Sr. Executive Team Leader – Human Resources, and IT Manager for fortune 500 companies. Emily Chase, General Counsel
As General Counsel, Emily leads our internal legal processes related to contracts, intellectual property, employment, risk management and governance. Prior to joining CPM in 2013, she worked in private practice and at John Deere. Emily holds a Juris Doctor from Creighton University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Northern Iowa.
Morgan Boyd, IT Director
Morgan brings 27 years’ Information Technology experience from similar roles with Ally Bank and International Display Systems Inc. Morgan graduated from The United States Naval Advanced Data Engineering program where he later served the United States Navy in the Atlantic fleet. As Global Information Technology Manager, Morgan is responsible for corporate and business unit level information technology needs. By bringing some of the world leaders in IT together to form efficient and cost-effective partnerships, CPM is leading the way in tomorrow’s innovative solutions to bring the best possible products and services to our customers. Morgan believes the best leaders in any business have the strongest teams built around them.
Tim Brown, Director of Financial Reporting
Tim Joined CPM in 2010 and oversees accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting globally while leading the implementation and maintenance of our ERP and other business systems. Tim has nearly 20 years of accounting and management experience starting in public accounting with LarsonAllen (now CliftonLarsonAllen) and adding experience with a $500M privately held global manufacturer before coming to CPM. Tim is a CPA (Inactive) and earned his accounting degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and MBA from Metropolitan State University.
CPM has a deep and talented team managing core business functions and shared services including information technology, human resources, finance, supply chain development and risk mitigation.
